You’re looking for a new challenge and you would like to know the project “Centre of Unity, Schweibenalp” better?

Welcome as a Volunteer or a Working guest!

To be at the Centre of Unity, Schweibenalp means getting in touch with different aspects of your life.

The Centre of Unity is located at the Schweibenalp 1100 above sea level. It is located near the Giessbachfälle in an astonishing mountain landscape. The plateau is a natural paradise with view to the turquoise lake Brienz.

This remarkable place of power fascinates through its history as an old place of the druids, resting place for the pilgrims of the Camino the Santiago as well as a lively long-term spiritual meeting centre.

The focus of our vision is the unity of people of different cultures and persuasions, as well as the experience of that unity in one’s heart.

As a community who live and work here, we dedicate ourselves to transferring truth, simplicity and love in our daily work.

Voluntary service
To be a volunteer at the Schweibenalp means getting in touch with different aspects of your life.

You like to:

• Come in contact with different people
• Train your personal responsibility
• Be in true and open communication
• Get into the centre and the people here.

What will await you here?

• You will be appointed to these departments: housekeeping, dishwashing, maintenance or kitchen.
• As a volunteer you’ll help six hours per day, five days a week, including one hour volunteer meeting per week (total 30 h/week). Two days are for your own disposal.
• Your accommodation is in a dormitory or in a tent.
• We work with talent and enthusiasm on our own programme. You’re most welcome to share your free time with us.
• Beautiful nature and landscape in the Swiss mountains.
• Your minimum stay for a volunteer service is two weeks (board and lodging for free)

Insurance
A valid insurance against accident and illness for Switzerland is needed.

Miscellaneous
We have a policy of no drugs. Smoking is permitted in designated areas only.

Welcome as Working guest!

Your participance as a working guest is a wonderful relief in our daily life. We really appreciate that.
Through every hour of your work, 10 CHF will be diminished from your board and lodging costs.
There’s no option to mix it with other amenities.
