Directions

We recommend travelling by public transport, as Schweibenalp has very limited parking space available.

Travelling by Public Transport
Take the train via Luzern-Brünig or Bern-Interlaken to Brienz. At the train station, take the “Axalp” post bus to Bramisegg.

From there, we will be happy to collect you free of charge. You can also get to Schweibenalp by walking up a forest trail for about 800m.

For direct transfers from or to Brienz train station, we charge CHF 25.-. Please, let us know early, if you require a transfer.

Travelling by Car

Exit the motorway at junction A8 Brienz / Giessbach / Axalp and drive up the mountain in the direction of Axalp until you come to “Bramisegg” restaurant. Turn right onto the side road and keep driving through the forest for about 800m. At the crossroads, keep to the right. As parking space is very limited, we recommend travelling by train. When travelling by car, we recommend parking in Brienz and travelling on to Schweibenalp by post bus or using our transfer service.
