The Vision
We are seeking to understand and support the rebirth cycles of nature
through new findings in science and human development.

The principles of Compassion and Consciousness within a Diamond of six
points are the Core Symbols motivating the work throughout this conference.
They will be represented by the contributions of:

• Inventors, Scientists and Visionaries • Ecologists • Engineers and Industrialists • Financiers and Economists • Media Representatives, Distributors and Civil Society • Politicians and Lawmakers

These six points of the diamond are required to implement any significant
change.

Seven Rings surround the Diamond. They represent the sphere of the Earth
and are identified as:

• the cycle of energy • the cycle of water • the cycle of air and climate • the cycle of earth and nutrition • the cycle of life and health • the cycle of economy and finances • the cycle of social and consciousness transformation

These are the main cycles, determining nature’s power and the quality of
life on planet Earth. If they are sustainable, life is secure and can prosper
in its own organic self regulation and evolution. If some of them are out of
balance, life or at least human life and evolution are at risk. Each of the
cycles will be examined individually and in combination with the others.

The “Green Phoenix” stands for evolution, transformation and a new beginning: out of the ashes of the current era of scientific imbalance into the next level of life and human civilisation. This can occur either by means of a smooth transition or a violent scenario depending on our motivations, adaptations and behaviour

Concept & Content
According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (2007) there
is only a little time left. We are on the very edge of determining whether
we will start to repair or continue to destroy the basic cycles of life and civilisation.
As co-creators, we are co-responsible and capable of creating
the necessary changes in how we live and how we affect planet Earth.

This symposium will seek to provide participants viable and practical
means to enhance communication and improve current conditions. In working
together, we can attain to a precise understanding and assessment of
the reality of our world.

By committing to cooperation with specialists and like-minded people in
our related areas of science and activity, we learn to see a broader horizon
in order to make pragmatic decisions that can change the trend towards
true sustainability and the healing of Life.

The Conference will bring us up-to-date with the latest ideas and discoveries
of each of the aforementioned Cycles of Life – from alternative energy
devices to new methods of water purification, from holistic health management
to future models of economy. The conference will also discuss
the social, political and market analyses appropriate for real sustainable
applications on local and global scales.

These sustainable technologies will be presented in light of the following
levels of discussion:

• mechanical (e.g., solar technology, eco-housing, regulation of fishing
quotas and reintegration of fish into the oceans, ...)
• subtle/energetic/magnetic/mental/Spiritual (e.g., using sound to increase
crops, Steiner-biodynamics, zero-point energy, interaction of consciousness
fields including mental, spiritual, super-magnetic, ...)

Materials will be presented both in the form of overview presentations as
well as in the form of specialists' reports and practical demonstrations of
new tools, technologies and models. Pioneers in their field will also define
the necessary social, financial, political and technical preconditions to implement
these advancements.

The conference will use various modalities ranging from lectures and
panels to World Café discussions, allowing all participants to work in small
groups to help broaden the experiential interactions. There will also be excursions
into nature and Live Music to complete the experience.

Considering all 7 cycles the assembled scientists, ecologists, activists and
pioneers for a sustainable and just future will work together to design and
envision models for a life with minimal violence; models from the size of a
community to the size of a metropolis or even larger habitats.

Conference participants will not only learn but also interact, creating
many new friends and associates. It is also our hope that this will be the
beginning of establishing a grand network of professional multipliers and
accelerators that can work together to help Mother Earth.

The Objectives

• Personal commitment for one year to continue to bring a level of ecological
  consciousness and action to peers and colleagues
  
• Work with Politicians/Lawmakers and financiers to evaluate the possibilities
  of effective implementation on administrative and financial levels
  
• Work with the Media and journalists to evaluate the possibilities for the
  public to be more engaged in environmental strategies.

The interaction of all the above circles during this conference will allow
for greater possibilities to emerge in a responsible global dialog.
