Nina Meyerhof

Nina has traveled and worked in 50 countries assembling adults and young people to focus on the potentials of bringing ethical living skills into world consciousness. Her present focus is on the realization that peace must come from recognizing our spiritual unity and scientific knowledge that we are all interconnected. Her programs reflect this potential of understanding and focuses on the youth movement for spirituality in action for peace-building.The World Spirit Youth Council is the cutting edge formulation of the ideas percolating that will activate youth around the world to unite as a movement in the face of bringing spirituality as the positive force of world peace. The time has come to go beyond individual rights, tolerance, peace, conflict resolution to the understanding that in higher consciousness we are all one. In that living understanding religious differences are only an outer garment for recognizing individuality like name, culture and national identity. If youth today can begin to focus on their inner calling of their personal destiny and remembrance that they are part of a greater tapestry of life, then we will being to develop models that work for equity and understanding and universal compassion for all.
Ho’opopono - self examination. “THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO TEACH”
Over the years we have examined many models of change and character building. In the past we considered self-esteem to be the most important ingredient of a successful human being. Then we looked at the potential creative power of the inner self. Recently we have learned about HOOPOPONO. Based on an ancient Hawaiian healing tradition, Hoopopono was redeveloped as a model of self-cleaning by Dr. Ihaleaskala Hew Len. Whatever we see in the outer world is a projection of what we hold inside based on your many experiences. If we are able to CLEAN our perceptions inside then the outside will alter itself. Keep on keep on cleaning until the light shines through you.
Ho’opopono is composed of three elements: repentance, forgiveness, and transformation. It is based on the premise that what you see in another is also in you, so that all healing is self-healing. No one else has to do the process but you.

TAMERA – Youth for a Future without War
We live in a time of complete transformation: Wars and catastrophes are devastating the Earth. Countless children are losing their homes. Sacred sites are being destroyed and cultures are becoming extinct or adapted to normality. Yet still, the sacred stream forever flows forth in subterranean darkness, as Hermann Hesse said. A dream pervades the world and humankind. It is the dream of an Earth without fear and violence, in genuine truth and in full trust. It is the dream of an Earth where every living being finds its place in the whole, its right to live and its home.
Tamera is a place in which we rediscover and manifest this dream. Here, a model is being developed that concretely manifests the dream in all its aspects. It is a local life model and at the same time part of a global network. Many individuals and projects across the world participate in the establishment of the “Global Campus“: People from São Paulo, Brazil and San José de Apartadó, Colombia; people from Bethlehem, the Middle East and from many other locations come together to form a new planetary community for a future without war.
Within this framework, Tamera takes on the social issue, among others. What needs to be changed among human beings so that healing occurs? What is at the core of the worldwide war? We have recognised a centre of violence in the unredeemed and disappointed love between the genders and we are working on a life system in which this war between the genders can be dissolved forever. It will be replaced by truth, trust and a newly found embedding in a larger whole.
For a common time for peace!
